A more mature Marie Justine Benoîte Favart (née Duronceray) (Around 1771)
I would like to share that I own a unique 18th Century Portrait of Madam Favart when she was older and she is holding the brooch given to her by her lover the Count of Saxony.
It is my understanding that there is' only one other oil on canvas portrait of her painted by the French Master Hubert Drouais , on display at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, USA, when she was younger, titled '' Portrait of a Woman, Said to be Madame Charles Simon Favart (Marie Justine Benoîte Duroqueray, 1727–1772) This uniquely wonderful piece of history belonged to the private collection of Isaac D. Fletcher, and as his legacy, he bequeathed the painting to the museum in 1917.
